Weight loss helpful tips

Hi again,

Just wanted to share this though with you.

During my tries with weightloss I have to admit I was never very successful. I really hated having to limit my food intake to certain food groups or could not mix food. So I decided to start checking out other programs that did not limit the food types nor restricted certain food types with others.

There was so much information out there that it was very confusing. Some programs recommend you only eat fruit by themselves, or removing carbohydrate from your diet or even limiting eating to before 6pm at night. These all seemed extremely dubious to me. How can people who work shifts or do not get home from work till after 7pm eat dinner. I felt all these types of fads were just that a fad trying to pass themselves off as credible.

I know one thing, if I only ate fruit or carbs by themselves I would have a sugar drop and get very shaky so now I follow this program, http://www.mnb-weightlossprogram.com/.

I have been following this program and it does not eliminate carbs or suggest you eat these by themselves. It teaches you how to look at the food you eat and also recommend you eat whole foods which are easier for the body to use rather than eating ready made or fast foods that are not very nutritious and most have had food altering with preservative.

When I started this program I was sceptical as usual, but within a month people who I had not seen for a while could not get over the amount of weight I had lost. I noticed my clothes were baggy but I really did not see the over all picture because I had lost weight all over not just one area. It was great.

I enjoy food and I have to admit that by following this program which I am still doing I do not feel left out or cheated. When I go to parties or out for dinner I do not fret about what is being served because I look at food totally differently than I did before. I know what combinations I should eat for my body type so it makes it easier for me to choose my meals.

This program has been a great help for me and I just wanted to tell you about my success.

Its easy to understand and it really gets you thinking about what and how you eat, opposed to just eating anything.

It’s a great starting point if you are having trouble shedding those pounds.

sample recipe which I found very useful

Here is a recipe I am sure you will enjoy and it is great for people who are concerned about their health and weight.

When I started my healthy weight control this is a recipe I found easy to make and it was part of the program I was following. Made weightloss a lot more easy when I looked forward to my meals rather than looked at them as a punishment.

Rice Noodle Salad (serves two)

1 small sweet potato cut into 1 inch cubes
1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
½ small butternut squash peeled & seeded cut into 1 inch cubes
2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
6 oz rice noodles – soaked in boiling water 5 min or till tender
Cup mangetout peas sliced long ways
4 shitake mushrooms sliced
2 sprigs of coriander
8 large prawns uncooked and peeled (may substitute with gilled tofu)

Preheat oven 200 degree C

Put sweet potato, butternut squash, red bell pepper, prawns in roasting pan, toss with oil and roast approximately 20 minutes or until tender. Prawns may cook quicker so may have to take them out earlier. Allow to cool.
(If using tofu then rather than roasting, grill separately.)

Pile noodles into two bowls and top with roasted vegetables and prawns and sprinkle with chopped coriander.

This is a great lunch dish or supper dish which is healthy and is good for anyone wishing to control their weight.

I found this and more great recipes very helpful for me for losing weight and keeping it off at www.mnb-weighlossprogram.com site.

It worked for me.
